Changing the latency settings on Sky/ATR video helped me.

My question was actually about the Betfair video stream

on the ATR tracks via live video you have a settings option to change latency to low. Unfortunately this makes little difference when ARC have minimal interest in providing a fast and smooth stream.

Altering the latency just adds to the delay

Manoleeds I have no idea what I'm  doing!  But on the ATR screen click on the bottom and a clock like symbol appears and clock on that you have an option of 3. I tried changing it and found medium appeared to show improvement on my laptop. Try changing your speed and see if it makes a difference.

duffy, most people don't play in-running but you'd think in 2023 they could supply a smooth HD video.

RTV tracks starting to stutter now, Galway then unplayable.

More and more bookies are now offering in-play betting, if ever they might all want fast and smooth video you'd think it would be now.

RUK tracks aren't immune from the problem either, it's creeping into them too, Downpatrick been iffy today for example.

Yes but at least you can have ruk on the tv as a back up to cover the stuttering. What a horrible set of tracks tom - I was pleased enough to see gowran abandoned earlier, as you have no hope on the flat racing there.

Agreed, Gowran horrible.

You do have the RTV channel but it's behind the LV let alone everything ese

This is what you get on twitter

Hi there, thanks for waiting. Our team have confirmed that races are mapped and work fine on our side.
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about the occasional stuttering from a content perspective. Apologies for the inconvenience I wish we could resolve this fully for you but since they are provided by a third party this is not fixable on our end if the issue is not from our side personally. Apologies again. -Martina.G

Even less incentive to do anything now.

It is absolutely appalling today. How can they deny there is an issue?

They must have it set on the medium setting which makes the pictures more stable but much slower which is no good for in-running players.
