Got married the mrs this day 1976.

Weather had just broken from the best summer ever. Spent our first night at The Swan Hotel, Newby Bridge. The next day went across  to Thirsk for  races, then Friday at York races.

Manchester to Majorca  Saturday for the Honeymoon proper.

Happy to say we are still going strong.Happy

Congratulations Barstool for staying the distance on what can very often be heavy going. Funnily enough i took my wife out for the 1st time on Sept 1st 1991, got married in 97 and separated 2 years later, happy days not.Laugh

Enviable record Barstool. Well done! I'm as successful at that as I am at punting :D .... still there's a new one on the go and you can't beat the thrill of giving it another go - we never learn. On all fronts.

Tatt, Wife had the curry.

The cider is very nice, quite dry, Suffolk brew I believe.

Spoilt for choice around here for really good pub food at reasonable prices.

barstool -

It could have been 'AspUll' (bitter) - after all - only 17 miles from Mere Brow - on the B5246.  Happy
