Surely this has to be ditched. Completely fails on the whole team aspect side. Tomorrow we have... English-owned horse, trainer, jockey, representing....you guessed it Ireland. Another English-owned horse, trainer, jockey representing....you guessed it..Scotland. Complete joke. Incredible 2 channels have lapped it up, it's utter garbage.

Not necessarily 'garbage' - for the various financial beneficiaries -
But - Complete convoluted carp - for the rest of us. Just who do - 'Everything in the racing world is wonderful' Alex Hammond - 'playing the cards right' Josh Apiafi - mega-mouth Chapman - and the rest of the cheerleaders - think that they are fooling - let alone appealing to - with all their inane 'bigging it all up' total NONSENSE] ![]() ![]() The Game has GONE. |

By:
Sure the team aspect is nonsense but it provides a weekly card of relatively high-class racing for good prize money. Do what the rest of us do and enjoy the racing by simply ignoring whether Wales and the West can beat Just Outside Wigan or whatever the teams are called.

Harry McGuire running for Scotland tonight...joker card being played..

Despite being a fan of AW racing I will always totally ignore a card full of 0-90 handicaps.

Got to feel sorry for any punter taken in by this garbage. Handicaps galore. Terrestrial TV. "Bookies" promoting it. Mugs fall for it. Recipe for disaster. Why don't they put the evening Sandown card on Terrestrial tv featuring the brigadier gerard amongst others? Because the punter has a chance so no can do..

I think it's watchable when confined to one track. At least this way the horses will probably be ridden by the same jockeys representing their region. As a betting proposition it's a non-starter with me.

I wrote Racing League into the header and it spell checked and completed it from what I wrote last week.
Typical of you though Onlooker. Not a single post giving your thoughts on any of the other threads I posted. ----------- After timing bets and Knit picking is your MO |

Anyone know how much Mr Dettori has been paid to turn-up at Southwell since 2010? Money talks.

and another winner 'mapped out' by Blake 6 months ago for top Irish flat trainer George Boughey .

Overhead shots show that there is a poor turn out again, why bother carrying on with this if the public is not interested.

I'd like to see a Flat tripartite between the UK, Ireland and France. Let's have the minimum prize money per race set as £200k. Then I'd watch for pointers.

Riders do not care who they ride for. They ride for money 1st eg Mr Dettori even if it means riding in the evening.

UK v Ireland would suffice, Ryder Cup style , Foursomes (2v2) then Singles(i.e 2 horse race shootouts, BOOKIES FORCED TO BET 10/11 EACH OF 2?

Back next year? not if affordability checks on course and Bookmakers Shops check in.Everything is a right mess especially the new Premiership Fixture list, they do not allow for abandonments during the winter months.
