I like the look of Quickthorn who ran away with the Goodwood Cup last time. His price is higher than it should be in my opinion as many will think he was gifted the race having slipped the field early. However I think it may be a mistake to think that and that maybe he was just the fastest horse on that day. The trends support this in that horses who ran well in the Goodwood Cup often go on to win this today. It is also a race that favours the top two favs on trends having won 4 of the last 5 . Quickthorn is 5/1 hovering around 2nd fav with Bet 365 and a bit less than that on BF at the mo. A rating of 118 is well above the minimum needed to win the Lonsdale (107) and I feel with some bookies going 3 places their isnt a lot of downside ew. The only worry I have is if the jockey races off again but judges the pace incorrectly this time and he blows up, making a place unlikely. Good luck to all whatever you back.
