Quickthorn won this race previously beating Coltrane and then beat both Coltrane and Courage Mon Ami at Goodwood recently so why on earth is he third favourite? Once could have been a fluke but the other jockeys knew what he would do at Goodwood and could not get near him.

) I was going to lay him again but I'm glad you reminded me he won this by 14l last year. I still can't believe we'll see the herd stupidity as at Goodwood,but I have to accept that on his day Quickthorn might be a very good horse. Think I'll give the race a miss.

Hope you did Salmon. I have not seen the race yet but inevitable that Coltrane would win after letting me down recently. I was out for the first 3 races so still breaking even
