Wow, this place is still here I see! I am still trying to take the bookies for every penny. A lot harder now using just the exchange. Spend my time searching for tipsters that make a profit at bsp. The standard of tipping in general seems to much worse than 5 years ago. Most of my stuff is on Twitter these days which is actually a bit of a cesspit. I run a group though of like minded people showing tipsters stats and honest betting on horses, footy and golf.
Still Searching for Tipsters - I see .... You must be Mad and Potless
I think you were on your 33rd Tipster, before you departed
Would that/that would be why you disappeared, then.

Always used tipsters, 12.5 years now. Probably not a tipster around I haven’t tried. Used to be some that were consistent but very few nowadays. I use a jump on jump off system these days, find those in form, jump on, wait till they drop off and then jump off. Been working really well but very difficult and time consuming. The amount that stay decent for more than a month can be counted on one hand. Those that are decent mostly rely on overnight prices and joke bookies which is not viable long term. Only 1 bet today. 14/1 he’ll red in this 6.00 race.

Can have 20 bets if loads of tipsters in form. Can have just 1 like today as it’s **** racing. You can’t trust most on social media so I keep stats on approx 25 tipsters every single day. Best one this month has has 13 winners from 16 bets. Mixture of favourite tipsters, outsider tipsters, 1 a day and 10 day tipsters. Very difficult though. Year 11 a loss, year 12 a profit. First 10 years were amazing but had access to all the accounts then.

Hayden - that’s what most assume. Worked amazingly for 12.5 years though. Not without losing years. I have had 3. Those that win every month just aren’t out there and this is the best way around it I have found. Approx 450 accnts restricted and sp only in the shops where I live. It’s a unique way of following tipsters but must be doing something right to run a paid group for 3.5 years.

Not really. I have enough in my group to keep me happy and not too much admin. Just checking the place out after a long time away. Would imagine a lot more serious punters in here than on Twitter!!

Fair enough Alex each to their own and i've no reason to disbelieve it works for you.
I'm 9 days away from 16 yrs sole punting using my own personal strategies and following nobody.
Just proves it's each to their own i guess

Nice! Yep, I tried the betting my own and was **** so tried the tipsters route. I kept leagie tables of them all for 2-3 years and it went on from that. The jump on jump off system is something I use as there simply aren’t any who are consistent enough for a long period of time anymore. Way harder now though with just one bookie accnt (mugged up for 7 months) and the exchange.

is this jump on jump system designed to only jump on after they have had a winner (s) and then get off when they back a loser. ? If so you would miss every winner if a tipster was to give a 20/1 winner every second bet with a loser in between. May need more work

Hardly. I don’t like the huge price tipsters. As you say, if you miss a winner that’s the profit gone, you end up backing the 15 losers inbetween. I prefer those with high strike rates/regular winners. I wait till they have had a few winners and then jump on, as soon as they show signs of a losing spell I either reduce stakes or jump off. Same with the opposite, increase stakes during winning runs. Not perfect obviously but works better than sticking with the same tipsters as there aren’t any consistent ones and those few there are rely on joke bookies/stand out prices or overnight markets which isn’t sustainable long term.

The idea is that I search for those in good form and make very similar profits at bsp as they would at top price with bog. I track a mixture of tipsters who put up even money shots with 75% strike rates, 16/1 tipsters, mid price tipsters, some put up 1 a day, some put up 10 a day. If there are 5 Diptera in form I may have 10 bets, if 10 doing well it may be 20 bets. Today there were 8 tipsters but only 1 bet between them. I don’t bet for the sake of it. Nothing guaranteed on the gambling side but the stats I keep are one of the only honest ones on social media. I pull the scammers, give betting advice, join paid tipsters and do reviews to save others having to subscribe. (I don’t share the tips obviously) and I also share my sports tips which were over 300 pts up last year. (Mainly on golf) I save people having to track or search for tipsters doing well. Lots of work but well worth it.

Had no idea if the forum was still going strong. The betting intelligence on here I assume is way better than Twitter though! There are tipsters and affiliate websites that don’t know the returns on a payout on a dead heat result. It’s shocking.

Cant see why you need to know dead heat rules judging by your one selection yesterday. ( PU )
