watching live I thought Mighty Ulysees held on, then i saw Embesto at 1.02 in the photo, watched the replay and thought it got up Grin

You weren't as far out as you think JPSER , if you'd have said you didn't think Mount Ulysses had lost , then said you'd didn't think Embesto had lost , different terminology and you'd have been correct twice.

'freak' situation where the two horses were the complete opposite ends of their respective stride pattern. there must have only been a few mm that it was a DH, a few yards either side of the line.

the actual still actually seemed to have a bit of an optical illusion, favouring the near side.

correct cider..i made a note after last saturdays foto that line goes slightly left of gap in rail to mirror.
