According to my numbas, King Of Tonga, Aconcagua Mountain, John Kirkup, Sherdil are the top 4, and each has at least a 20% chance to win. That means I can't back just one and have to back all 4. But also whenever I back 4, it means the race is very competitive, which means my horses will finish 2nd and 3rd behind a 30/1 shot.

Here's a challenge for anyone: lay only favs above 3/1. You will most likely lose despite "backing" every horse except the fav. |

"my horses will finish 2nd and 3rd behind a 30/1 shot." - 3rd and 4th behind a 33/1 Crypto. I had actually backed Crypto before the off because I know how these races go. If the fav hadn't steamed bigly before the off I woulda won.
