It's the controversial nature acey when comparing the level required over the past two years , very fortunate targets last year vs near impossible targets to get top qualifications required this year , some unhappy students this year for certain.

Gavin Williamson a disgrace , these days when you **** up though you get a knighthood.

Media love all this because it stirs the political pot.

I would imagine anyone who endeavours to better themselves via education would be interested.

You've done well 'acey'.

I think exams (theory and practical) and qualification are seen as facilitators to a better life. Of course there are other external factors coming into play too eg university of life, background, etc.

Even here exams come into play too, mainly practical. The more knocks one takes (losing) the more experience one gains and higher the propensity to win later on, if one keeps check on one's betting emotion. But, no guarantee though. But, getting academic results will undoubtedly smooth the passage to a better and easier life.
