Decided at the two pole the winner was gone too far ahead and basically gave up when in a clear second. Why isn't that classed as not riding the horse out for a place? Before anyone does say the horse was legless don't. He just didn't bother.

he's done it for years and isn't alone, basically unless a jockey actually pulls up a horse the stewards don't want to know.
