weight was always going to be an issue , hence the reason they didnt mind him riding out his claim so quickly.

Flat weights have gone up gradually over the years and still don't make much sense to me. I can see why 2yos should not be asked to carry heavy weights but how can a 4yo hurdler be asked to carry 11.12 over 2 miles over hurdles while a 6yo carries just 9.9 in the King George over 12 furlongs?
