Got a couple of albums. Liked 'Just Like U Said It Would Be' and 'Black Boys On Mopeds' ahead of the more obvious.

Good singer.Did her career suffer when when she had an outburst
in an interview on T.V?

Loved the live version of Belfast Child with Simple Minds and her. She was a troubled soul and had loads of issues.

She suffered with mental health issues for much of her adult  life so outbursts came with the package you'd speculate.
The pandemic has left many with 'problems'. Lockdown has done a load of people right in.

----------------------------

She tore up a picture of the Pope on TV which didn't go down too well but she regained all if not all of her fans.

Her son killed himself about a year ago and she hasn't been the same since and it added to her mental health problems

RIP.

Elderly people in particular seem to have an irresistible urge to watch that thing day and night including the previous daysshows which they've already seen.

Worthless pro-Mus waste of skin.  Did a great job with Prince's "Nothing Compares To You", but otherwise good riddance to "Shuhada".

very sad to see her go.........but in terms of music was she a one hit wonder?........it seems the tearing up of the pope picture on US TV and other controversial stuff kept her in the news as apposed to her music?
is that fair?

She was the angst ridden product of what religion does to a person. Richard Dawkins accurately refers to the enforcing of religion on children as ‘child abuse’.
He says there is no such thing as a Catholic or Muslim child. Indeed.

O’Connor used the verb ‘revert’ to refer to her conversion to Islam, an utterly stupid comment that had already see her try be a priest of another Catholic faction.
Is it any wonder she and her child ultimately had mental health issues?

Judging people's merit solely by hit records is a nonsense. Many who have hardly had a hit are/were massively more talented than those who have had dozens. Someone like Leonard Cohen springs instantly to mind. There are loads of artists who never get the exposure they deserve, particularly in this country where the only real channel of exposure is Later which has gone down the pan for the last 20 years, and has now fallen completely over a cliff.

These are the two songs I mentioned earlier. I would have them over loads of records that might have been hits.

Absolute nonsense. So all the millions and millions past and present who were/are religious are 'angst ridden'. Stop trying to pedal your own personal vendetta.
