The BBC (pushing it's Global Warming/Climate Crisis Agenda) has spent all week trying to drive up hysteria about bush fires around the Equator, whilst it has pi$$ed down in the UK for the past fortnight......

'Moderate' - It has not stopped for practically 36 hours across the North.

Cartmel OFF (Monday) - Redcar OFF (today)  - all coming from the West - and Curragh OFF (today) too.

Only a few Overs at the Cricket yesterday - and a Washout today.

Is the 'Moderate' Warning because London might get a few drops?

Ascot is Good to Soft, Soft (in places) at present. Come saturday the ground could resemble a quagmire. I think one of the big boys (very possibly Auguste Rodin) will be a non-runner. He's too much to lose.

Tried to post at Midnight - to say ...

Still Teeming down, here - A Brook at the side of my house is roaring like Niagra Falls, due to the volume of water pouring down off the Hill.

Not stopped Raining for over 24 hours - and before a couple of hours respite on Saturday afternoon - 15 hours before that, too.

However ... The forum was not working  -  Just Displaying - Cloudflare ERROR 522

I know that the northern area had a lot of rain yesterday but we had a lot on Saturday here in the South west and it has been raining on and off today since 6am and it is only about 15 degrees still. It is interesting that jump tracks seem to be good/soft while flat ones are soft or even waterlogged. I wonder why.
