rong forumi know but these lasses dont seem to be able to hit a barn door wi a banjo ,the 3 games i have watched total 2 goals one a last minuet winna and a re-taken penalty ......laid the frenchies earlier and unders , although the forum curse usually ensures goal fests after highlighting this . any opinions ?

The coach only gets a short time to develop a team and to expect them to play like the freescoring 1970 Brazilians is just too much.
For me these international tournaments are bloated, overly subscribed with dross and most of the games(and there are a lot of them) are unwatchable.
But FIFA love them, the tv pays through the nose and they make a lot of dosh for rich people. So nothing is gonna change.

I would rather watch an Evening Meeting at Carlisle than this garbage and that is saying something.
Acey - the difference being that England Women are capable of selling out a venue, which I rather doubt Carlisle has ever managed?

They only sell out venues due to the fact most tickets are given out free to the local schools
And those tickets left are so cheap for families and kids, the lefty middle class families pile in and get them, so they can put on their face book page where they've been.
