how does a horse with his breeding, by Galileo and out of a dual Group 1 winner, end up being sent to the breeze-ups as a 2YO?

'Only' brought £50K and took time to reach the racecourse.

Galileo's stud fee was private, but doubt there'd be much change out of a million quid, if any!

Whatever, some nice late headway this evening over a trip probably sharp enough and it will be interesting to see how he progresses (or regresses).

nice debut that George. watched it back.

tenderly ridden into the race quietly early doors. gradually for one reason or t'other switched posse toward the far side until straightened up and ran on with some purpose. will learn a lot from dayboo run no doubt.

happy to 'tracker' said beast

leif, it seemed the winner from an unpromising position did well to run down the runner-up, who got first-run nearside , so that's two of them flashed home towards the far side.

Fascinating these races at HQ on times watching for the next crop. lots tenderly handed others there ready to execute.
That appleby filly Wild Goddess is useful  looking ahead IMO

although Poutchek of Roger Variable has run a blinder on dayboo. at the back of the back, throwing its head around running very green has run on very well to take third late on. won't have gone under the radar.
