A few ‘big names’ well done Hamilton that should draw the crowd….
Would have ventured myself if it was a decent atmosphere….PA,music and a person bawling out….nah!

Is this not their Flagship meeting... coinciding with the old Glasgow Holidays weeks.
Well, the two main races are - including the Glasgow Stakes ... Transferred from York's Dante meeting - many years ago. |

Maybe not a flagship but the name M Stoute and Co have always been a crowd puller up north against the low level material….could almost punt them blind at one time, noticed Roger Varian not doing too bad

Yes even without you. Not sure why you wouldn't go if you could have. No loud speaker music noise around the paddock that I noticed.

Was at Hamilton last night, first Fair Friday Night Meeting for 42 years. Pretty much the same as 40 odd years ago with lots of drinking going on. Saw lots of improvements though, since I was last there about 12 years ago. Great facilities for food and drink/generally the whole place looks and feels better/staff very friendly also.New Hotel good addition.The racing was good some races quite competitive. The Godolphin winner looked impressive, and the McCain winner in the big sprint looked good as well. No complaints really well done Hamilton.
