I have barely watched a race all week and would happily avoid looking at the daily dross at all if it were not for having to put up a selection in the competition.

You may get lucky occasionally, but the fixture list just gives endless opportunities to lose. Even the weekends are not much better. Successful betting these days has a much to do with simply avoiding betting.

All this against a background of constant cheerleading. Who are they trying to kid?

Have enjoyed watching the cricket, both the women's and men's and with the Hundred about to start that's August sorted, and only another month of dross before the jumping kicks in again. Role on October.

Stick to backing your compy selections DD and maybe laying your divisions long odds on shots,at least one of the two you can be confident of a profit!!

Have you ever thought why bookmakers want as many big field handicaps as possible?

I don't back the horses I put up the competition very often, and I don't lay horses so not much good on both counts. The one I put up tonight was backed from 5/2-11/8 and the jock was riding a finish going to the first hurdle?

How is the forum a barometer of your cluelessness? Stick to what you know instead of gambling on anything that moves Mischief

The ‘professional undesirable’ playing pink…..and others close to them also playing pink killed flat racing a while back.Think about the hard earned you put down on a bet with a big chance then left scratching the napper thinking WTF was that….in my opinion…

NH much the same in my humble…..
