Yep lazy and disrespectful to the owner and trainer….come racing….they don’t care for the fodder

An easy one to analyse, it looked like they went too quick, as 'Holty' called it in the run, with the winner well off the pace early, and the eventual third, who was never in it and being pushed along in rear, coming through to pick up the pieces for third place.

As for Hornby, no doubt his instructions were to go forward, as the horse had last time at Windsor, but with the leaders appearing to overdo it, he didn't give his mount a hard time once headed inside the final furlong, and in his defence, there probably wasn't much juice left in the tank anyway.

Whatever, we punters better get used to that sort of 'easy-time' finish under the new whip rules.
