But all credit to them for trying…last filly to win this was in 49 and the winner will probably be fighting out the finish in the Arc so no shame.

Agree with that, finished strongly after having to angle out after not ideally placed during the race. Hopefully last night defeats will result in better value odds next race.

Another chance perhaps. Nonetheless, how deep was our Oaks? And, more importantly any better ones in France for The Arc eg Blue Rose Cen and Ace Impact? Or suitability of Longchamp?

Could she go to Ireland for the Epsom equivalent for remedy?

Certainly no disgrace to be beaten but Gosden has so many top fillies to juggle around who knows where she’ll go.

If we assume Emily Upjohn is going for the KG and Nashwa the Nassau that leaves the Yorkshire Oaks but he may aim Emily or Free Wind at that.
Given they took the colts on already maybe the Juddmonte over the same c&d where she won the Musidora so impressively will be the call but of course Gosden has the favourite for that in Mostahdaf.

There is the Prix Rothschild at Deauville on 30th July Gp1 over a mile fir fillies and mares - maybe Nashwa coukd go there leaving the Nassau for Soul Sister?
