Hate the way horse racing is so beholden to bookmakers....

Doubt horse racing would hold much interest for most people without the betting involvement.

The parasitic bookmakers fund the sport together with punters and always have,take them out and who then funds the SPORT?

Forget the tv companies, the BHA should treat racing as a sport and not a betting product.

the owners want punters money not fund it themselves

Many a time i've gone to a race meeting and only had 1 bet, i can enjoy it as a spectacle without a financial interest.
