I've only been to Bath and Newton this week, so I've only bought the Post a couple of times. The article on Epsom was fascinating, in describing how trainers and developers have had such a hard time getting planning permission to bring facilities back up to scratch in the face of residemts and authorities ignoring just what Epsom is and still should be.

And I enjoyed David Jennings talking to Ted wWlsh and all the other old farts about the glory days of life on the Curragh, and how the fun has gone from it now. Could have been me talking about racing in general.

They were both ultimately optimistic articles though, explaining how both places are adapting to changed realities. Worth a read, if you've got the time.

Would be great if they did a feature about Chantilly and/or Francois Mathet & Andre Fabre.

And have they given up doing pedigree reviews of the group winners?
