Pulled Up

Always towards rear, tailed off

In rear, pushed along 3rd, ridden and lost touch 4 out, tailed off (trainer said gelding was unsuited by the good going and would prefer a slower surface)   .............. Really

In rear, pushed along 3rd, ridden and lost touch 4 out, tailed off (trainer said gelding was unsuited by the good going and would prefer a slower surface)

Held up in rear, outpaced and pushed along 7th, ridden and weakened before 2 out (op 100/1 tchd 125/1)

DEBUT - in a Bumper ...
Towards rear on outer, ridden and still plenty to do 4f out, went fourth 2f out, kept on well final furlong, not reach leaders (op 9/2)

Do you think anybody in the BHA may be remotely aware?

Thought you'd post about it's previous form or lack off, should i say, just beat you to it and doubt they will be too bothered, one of the establishment good guys isn't he.
As an aside i thought the 10lb claimer on the 2nd rode a very good race, just not enough toe to get to winner over this shorter distance, if comes back here next Monday could well win again over 3 miles.

Race 6 - 5:28pm
THE WACKY WEEKENDER FESTIVAL PITCHCROFT 21ST-23RD JULY CONDITIONAL JOCKEYS' HANDICAP HURDLE RACE (CLASS 5)

Joe Tizzard was fined £290 for failing to notify the Racing Calendar that MARLEY HEAD (IRE) had undergone wind Surgery, until after the gelding was declared to run.

The winner, BENSINI, appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ffos Las on 31 January 2023 where the gelding was pulled up. Robbie Llewellyn’s explanation that BENSINI benefitted from a break and the return to Worcester, where the gelding had run well previously was noted. BENSINI was routine tested.

I know someone who has a very tiny share in a flat horse, it has been running down the field for about six runs and won over 20/1 last week. The trainer didn't say it was going to win but said to my mate just before the off "If this doesn't win we are all in trouble. It won easily.. My mate is a big gambler and won a few bob and it gave him a night to remember..

The trainer was also asked to explain why he was running the horse on "good" ground, when in November it was beaten 94 lengths and he had reported that the "gelding was unsuited by the good going and would prefer a slower surface. The trainer explained that in this case the horse was able to handle the good going after the application of money, which had not been previously applied. The stewards accepted this explanation and further accepted the trainers "clutching at further straws" claim that the horses previous bumper form at Worcester was somehow relevant.  For the avoidance of doubt I "made up" the last para of my post.

Well bred horse will win loads of races.I have good memories of her grand dam.
Report blackbarn July 5, 2023 9:45 PM BST
Cloone, I agree on the pedigree, and the bumper run was promising, but this is hardly the point is it.
Report onlooker July 5, 2023 10:24 PM BST
cloone always has to find a way to post a somewhat superior and potentially contrary riposte.

It is usually something like - 'it's 3rd (in a 6-runner) Point-to-Point in Ireland was not a bad effort'

Shame really Cry

Onlooker - I think it is what others on here call "back-fitting". I hope he understands that he has posted a perfect example.

I am 100% Agnostic - cloone ...

So that one 'bounced', too.  Happy

Cloone - if you are up for a serious debate on this one, on here, I am up for it. I can handle pedigree, back-fitting and all the forms of "handicapping" you want to throw at me.

Shall we start with your pedigree based claim - Well bred horse will win loads of races.

When exactly did you come to this conclusion? If yesterday or today, this info would be helpful.

I have good memories of her grand dam. Excellent, your memories of her would be good to add evidence to the discussion.

Despite Onlookers post, don't stint on the biblical quotes, they always add spice.

A lousy £290. An absolute bargain if you're looking to obtain a price.

What with the market drift on the third horse (ex-Johnny Farrelly owner) and the ride given to it, this really was a stinking race. What a filthy cast of characters.

The only shame  Onlooker is punters who feel hard done by when things don't go there way and throw the toys out of the pram. But that's life .By the way in my opinion the run of Hillsin  was as good as he is.When he was in Ireland he find nothing for pressure and was one paced. Binsini is a better horse then him and will win plenty of races in years to come .

Here is the thing with these gambles and dirty drifts... "Most of the Public are unaware" Everyone on here is, and WE know horse racing is not entirely squeaky clean! The BHA Have a Big problem when Joe public lose interest because of integrity.

There are NON triers everyday.
