So you back 1.58 shots to lay them at 1.52 in case they lose, what a joker.

Might as well back a tennis fav at 1.58 and green up when he's 15-0 in the first game.

Gone just a bit tight but should go shorter. He's normally a good starter/doesn't pull.

Park Street 40/1?  Fully 10 lengths last at the 2 pole.  Rails gap and it looks like a champion, having beaten only two horses in his previous two!.
Didn;t play so no sour grapes but honestly, what chance do punters have?

If I had your bankroll my 3 month p&L would be £200k. You're just a money buyer. The only odds on shot you backed in 2 months didn't even win, so the only way to make any profit was to green up for 6 ticks. Someone with a clue would find and odds-on shot at 1.6 with a 75% chance to win, bet 5k and let it run.

Rico, millionaire successful punter v Gaze, an apprentice wannabe who will be posting the same tosh in 2033 and still without a pot to piss in Laugh

Whoever is on betfair for 20+ years and not a millionaire is a mug. Also, most of his profits were from an unfair edge with fast pics.

If we had a betting duel where everyone posts 100 backs or 100 lays, I would win both by a large margin. So who's really better?

How people make their money on here,it's up to them.
Fast pic edge, nothing stopping other's doing it,is there?
By:
Gaze733
When: 27 Jun 23 16:29
That's not how it works Andrew, you know that. The first 5-10 years you learn how to not lose. 95% never leave that stage. The next 5 years you learn how to win and manage your bank. Then if you can double your bank every 3 months, you can start making money. But it takes a while to grow 1k into 500k.
By:
Gaze733
When: 27 Jun 23 16:33
Sure penzanze, but it's nothing to be admired. It's like the cheating tennis courtsiders, sure they've made millions, but if they went on a betting forum, they wouldn't know anything about finding profitable bets despite decades of watching tennis. So what is there to be respected? What's next, respecting bank robbers who got away with it?

So in a thread with
100 backs: Gaze +50pts Rico +1pt
100 lays: Gaze +50pts  Rico +1pt

You would say: Rico is the clear winner because his stakes were 100x bigger.

Also, he would probably make a loss with normal backs and lays, after at least 3 decades of watching horses.
