im not having a good royal ascot and was gonna back coltrane today. the relief when frankie nailed him in the final furlong was like backing a winner.

I've had several 2nds too esp with Dettori onboard even his 'a winner' on 1st day at evens. I was also chinned on Coltrane; a bit of respite with a fun bet on Waipiro at 9/1. 

Today is another day. A couple of long-range shorties in Tahira and King Of Steel for multiples for X'mas and Chelt 2024. Good luck!

@bdj haha I know that feeling when you hope the horse you wanted to back finishes close second. E.g I fancy some 40/1 rag but don't back it because I back something more realistic and then the rag trades at 1.2 IR.
