Given the search area was quoted as "10,000 square miles" be surprising if they had not discovered debris.

I've read they reckon a landing frame and rear cover found are that of the craft.

Time to wait until an official statement from the USA

I imagine they will have the means to manage that.

I read the occupants had to sign a waiver/disclaimer warning of the risk of injury/death prior to the trip. As for life insurance, the craft was unlicensed, not registered or certified, and would any policy cover such a risky venture.

It appears the 'tube' imploded, and there wouldn't be much left of bodies if they were near the sea bed (the pressure is enormous). The saving grace is they wouldn't have known, or felt anything.

I guess a leak developed at the same time they lost contact with the surface.
The effect would have been similar to sucking the air out of a drinks can at that depth. The landing frame and rear cover plus other bits broke off as it was being distorted but the occupants would still be inside the crushed capsule.

Let's hope they can retrieve that to give them a proper burial.

I can't think of a more fitting burial place for undersea explorers than where they are.

The Titan 'tube' design was faulted big time, we (in the office) actually watched a video of the CEO who was so arrogant talking about safety measures, and apparently a director was sacked when he raised concerns about lack of regular testing, but i won't go into detail out of respect for the dead.

At sea level, humans are subjected to 14.7 PSI, but we can withstand up to ~ 55/60 PSI sudden impact depending on the person per se. If the 'tube' imploded on the sea-bed, the pressure on the 'tube' would be getting on for 6000 PSI. The implosion would take a millisecond, all occupants would have died instantly and there wouldn't be much left of the 5.
