If people can't remember the last pre race 1000 winner then likely this layer has probably already opened up a brewery.

Chris Hayes won a 1000 SP in Ireland about 3 years ago

lot of grinding if you're a 1000 layer to earn that back...head down and go again ay...the layer's plight.

Another 1000 shot fell after being pushed into the last after half the field had already finished. That looked pretty grave for the horse for a while, but just winded fortunately.

1000s win much more often in Ireland. Ultra mug layers though.

I had a feeling the other day we were due some big priced SP winners, but I didn't expect a 1000

I had a 1000 bsp winner a few years back for 2 quid lol, wasn't my main bet in the race  but put some loose change on a few outsiders and it won. I'm sure it missed the break as well and won going away at the end

Crianza, 100/1 sp, sounds like the one I had at 1000 pre race. 5.20 Redcar 19th June 2010.
Dwelt, held up in rear, smooth headway 2f out, led final furlong, pushed out.
Anyone know where I can watch the video? Nothing coming up for that whole day on sportinglife.

in order to have a 1000/1 winner either connections have absolutely no interest in gambling or simply do not have a clue about the horses ability.

otherwise its never going off at 1000/1 is it ??

Good point, just shows that anything can happen if not even the yard knows what their horse is capable of. Still, people laying ISP 100/1-200/1 at 1000 are asking for it.
