To me he is priced up as if he had won on the bridle at a Grade 1 track.

He was priced up at 4/1 to beat 4 rivals at Ripon. The second has been tonked since. If he was a potential Coventry winner would he have gone to Ripon, and would he have gone off that price? Connections are hardly clueless. Leaving aside the time visually he doesn't even look that impressive. Although he wins by a huge margin he only gets on top and starts to go clear in the final furlong when the opposition are already spent forces. It's a different race, but contrast that performance with American Rascal's debut. That really does have a wow factor, and despite having a pedigree that Asadna doesn't, he is not much shorter for an albeit competitive Norfolk.
