Couldn’t resist Never Ending Story ew 4 places at 16/1.
This is her trip, well drawn, Ryan on board, will be fitter for her 3 run this season, better going will be fine and a very fair price. Her dam won over 10f on firm at Belmont with Ryan on board (see link) so hoping this girl will excel over the trip as well. https://youtu.be/QkPLvWbxkdw |

Completely agree ELG. Big price. Bound to improve over this trip. Good draw. Had, for me, a decent punt on her.

On Lindy in this today who I think's got a very good E/W shout.
Twice finished behind Blue Rose Cen over the mile & can see the 10.5F of todays race being right up her street as finished well in both those starts.Has got stall 13 but Laurens (12) & Star Of Seville (15) have won this lately from wide draws.Demuro rides who I imagine will hold her up anyway & with a clear run can see her putting up a good show today. Was around 20s + on here & 18/1 books who go 4Plcs generally. GL ALL |

I like the fav Blue Rose Cen. She's the draw, the ability and potential to win this handsomely; a bit of luck up the rail would ensure a victory with little fuss. The others have to improve to beat the fav; Running Lion is drawn the worst of the fancied runners.

Having been harping on about Never Ending Story and the awful placement by Aidan since last September I have had to throw a few quid on her.
I fully expect Moore to hold her up and get boxed in losing any chance she had. Would have preferred her to run in the Coronation at Ascot. |

or indeed the Ribblesdale, for which she was only withdrawn last declaration stage. I am convinced she is a stayer but think you may be right with the outcome today Uncle.

a big field and often a lot of hard luck storys post race in these french races , i have backed 3 at big prices ,its diluting it but there ya go anyway my 3 are tasmainia who is progressing and steps up in class with marquand up looks a late developer and 100s plus earlier . left sea who won well last time and could fufill earlier potential at a decent price 70s plus on here .also the german filly lady ewelina unbeaten in 3 starts and may have been underestimated .

can't complain about that. Think NES may have run into a really, really good horse there.

Soumillion's ride there should be shown to all apprentice jockeys on how not to ride a horse

Cracking performance. Some good middle distance horses

Well done.
Happy enough with the ew on NES. I guess it’s America next to win the same race as his mom. |

Thank you, Mat22,
Very, very rarely do I wager on French racing but how could I not plunge after reading your message? Nice, unexpected win. Thanks again. |

Well done to the winners.
It was a good performance from another favourable draw, but the idea that she 'looks as good as Allez France and Zarkava' is at this stage way over the top. The second favourite was woeful, and perhaps the staying fillies are not up to much. Let's see what she can do in open company, and perhaps from a less favourable track position. |

Well done to Blue Rose backers.

Would've won that drawn in the Car Park.
Had that won 2F out. |

Did what it said on the Tin. Unlike Big Rock This time nothing came out of the pack to run it down. Connections were gutted and so was my bank manager a couple of weeks ago.
Today Connections and my bank manager are very very happy ![]() Bolted up really looking at again. 3/1 not going to make us rich but i will take those all day long with lumpy wedge on ![]() She is right up there....not sure she is a Zarkarva yet but on her way..... looks a very special filly. Tx Greenacres glad you were on. ![]() |

I backed her today as she looked the best option at around 3-1. personally would have had her at 7-4. She won really well although the race did pan out very kindly too, pacemaker (jockey having taken a peek to see Blue Rose behind him very kindly moved off the rail just enough top let her power through. No way would she get a gifted run through like that in an ARC. I would have doubts about her on soft/heavy and a fast pace at 1m 4f. Her dam won at 1m 4f around Santa Anita but that is not Longchamp on heavy ground and sire Churchill was a miler really so id be very surprised if she stayed. Im of the opinion and so far nothing has changed it that Savethelastdance could win the Arc. I think that test is made for her.

Good call Mat. Altho i thought the comments afterwards where way over the top. A good performance and as Indian states had a dream run ,but hardly a Zarkava .
|
|
By:
Tx Geoff...... Not sure what you mean or what offended you with my after comments?
Didn't get run down, Happy connections, Good for my bank account, Good Filly, That was my conclusion to the race ![]() If that's over the top maybe you have issues in your outlook of life ? |
|
By:
Not your comments Mat. The eulogising of presenters /commentators after the race!!

Ahh ok. i thought you meant me.
