Listening to him would put anyone off backing certain horses, nearly always gets it wrong with his preview of a race.Good to listen to but not a very good judge.

Why dont you just lay all his selections if he is so bad ? Surely you would make fortunes ?

He and all the rest are paid to speak and give opinions. Whatever he/they say(this includes tinker Nevo, Eddie The Boot, your morning Vole, Choc Thornton etc..) your own judgement/opinions should always rank higher.

It's RTV I believe. James is one of the better pundits for me. But I don't object to many that RTV use on the courses at all, and one of them that they get into the studio to do the Irish stuff is more clued up than many of the Irish ones (at least, what they share publicly).

Sorry meant RTV,your not going to make fortunes laying all his selections you will always get one or more to stick,I was just saying that his Judgement is not good,I had already backed 2 last night at Leicester to win he stated that both of their last time out form didnt amount to much, they both skated in.He like the others gives his opinion I am just saying I do not think he is not very good, the only ex jockey who is a good judge is Ruby Walsh stands out above all the rest, but that is my opinion.
