At what point was it really looking any of these prices - pulled up before the last!

She went lame.

The mare was bandaged in front anyway, but they did look like they'd got away with it when she made that good headway out of the back straight. Sadly not.

would explain it struggling, though TBH I still don't know why it traded so short - never looked 'that' comfortable to me.

Personally I thought it was going the best of the four for a long way. Having said that they weren't going much of a pace so the price was undoubtedly surprising.

It was travelling ok, but that was to be expected with it's flat speed - I expected it to struggle later on in the race, as it did.

My question though was how those prices could be ruling out the other 3 who were all going fairly well, when it must have been matched - all 4 were still well in the race at the time.
