His father is 65. Lucinda Russell is only 56 though. If they want to continue the model of Russell holding the licence, but with the assistance of a Scudamore, maybe they want to get Michael ready to slot into his father's role sooner rather than later.
This is a complete guess though. On the face of it, I agree with you. One of that trio is sometimes going to have to go along with decisions they disagree with. |
