1m novice stakes and the gosdens  never ending the short priced fav should go close here ,has the best form in the book and is  progressing cost plenty and well bred . a few winners in the field the christians sunglasses and naomi lapaglia who drops in class after running down the field in the 1,000 gns both have chances here but carry penaltys .i like haggises seas the stars filly sea claret who was around 7l behind never ending on her debut at hq and on the face of it has plenty of work to do to reverse the form with that one .,but she was green and lost momentum at the dip and should improve for the exp and there has been a bit of money for her overnight ,in took the 20s which i thought was too big yard in decent nick and the only runner at the meeting .around 12/1 now she could outrun her odds .
selection  SEA CLARET 12/1 ew good luck opinions encouraged.

also the fav had the benefit of a previous run whereas sea claret was making her debut and this yards are often better for a exp.^^

i like a few bites at the cherry at biggish prices in these type of events , as said all lightly raced types and open to any amount of improvement and platinum jubilee is interests me at 50/1 b365 bog ,ran a decent race on debut at hq eventually finishing down the field but was green and didnt run at all badly untill fading in the last 2f only btn 7l  .went off a big price that day and entitled to come on for the exp ,yard won this last year with the same jockey up as today .had a few  smallish bets at 50/1 ew  and also the 30/1 5 places b365 ew extra  looks  fair imo.

I notebooked the fav at Newmarket, seemed very green and is better than that I think. I was going to leave it but I changed my mind when the price got bigger. GL.

you will probably be collecting  backing the fav saddo and yes its a fairer price now ,gosdens in good form as well , just thought sea claret at 20s was too big and should improve also if ya watch that race she was all over the shop at the dip she should be more street wise today. .

Good luck foyles,Gaze has some solid wood in his napper but he's a good fisherman.Had as second look at the Haggis filly but decided against a bet purely because of how she failed to handle the dip at HQ,not a good omen for here.

That said,if she has learned from that then the 20s was probably too big and you are in a good position now in any case.

yeah glen she should have learned from that but hard to know how much any of them has improved ,fav obviously the likely winner but happy with the 2 i have picked.

Naomi Lapaglia with billy the kid up.  good enough to compete in the guineas, wins this.

The favourite ran a good race from the widest draw, using a bit out of the tank to get a good sit. Won a bit cosily in the end as well, nice prospect.
