Even if he'd got up it would've been a dreadful ride. A horse having its first run over hurdles wouldn't have been ran into as many hurdles as this horse was today. Quinlan seemed determined to run up the back of the leader as often as possible.

I usually rate him fairly decent but was awful ride I agree, threw it away losing like that.

He was speaking to mick fitz before the race said he would keep it simple lol did everything but switch inside and out anyone would have thought he wanted to get that beat

Don't think it was a bnt one, as he wouldn't have driven in that finish like that, but just very poor, giving horse no space - why not just go on and run it's race...
