Met him twice, once recently at Goodwood and once 2/3 years ago. Physically very different, more flesh on a bike these days, but seems perhaps stronger. Definitely getting better horses to ride from Gosden for whatever reason. Perhaps he is riding better?.

As the commentator just said bit further back than ideal on First Emperor HOWEVER that is no reason whatsoever for Johhnie G grabbing the bull in the proverbial sense by the horns and getting Roddy Havlin in new at No 1 jock. In this world of equality and diversity everybody good or not so good needs the same chance and opportunity Rod is clearly a winner an amazing jockey just my opinion.
