E.g. Tommouse at 12/1 was trading at odds on but I knew the top 2 favs were much stronger so I laid him cheaply without looking at the pics and of course he lost hard.

I didn't lay 1/12, that's the point. I laid at evens because there was no way that clown horse would win. Mug IR backers.

Laying a 12/1 bfsp horse, at evens in running, has an approximate strike rate of 50 %. Hope this helps

70% if you know it's a clown horse. My pre-race stats said both the first 2 favs were strong. One was strong on paper, the other had massive market support. A random drifting rag was no match for them.
