THE pointtopoint.co.uk CHAMPION NOVICES' HUNTERS' STEEPLE CHASE (CLASS 2) (for The John Corbet Cup) An enquiry was held to consider interference from jumping the last fence, involving BRAVE STARLIGHT (IRE), placed third, ridden by Mr Jack Andrews, PRECIOUS BOUNTY (IRE), placed second, ridden by Miss Ellie Callwood and the winner, SINE NOMINE, ridden by Mr John Dawson. Andrews was suspended for 3 days, on dates to be notified to him by the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority, as he allowed his mount shift left-handed without sufficient correction, causing Miss Callwood to take a check and in turn, carrying SINE NOMINE off its intended line. |

Onlooker - I wouldnt have bothered posting except I had a hefty bet on the winner
 and did a little forecast with Precious Bounty who jumped them silly for the majority of the race under a great ride from Ellie Callwood who is a name to note. |

I feel that you were right in Posting - and Highlighting the Official Stewards' REPORT being INCORRECT.
Like many Newspaper articles and, worst still, Online website News stories - NOBODY bothers to Check or RE-Read their Copy nowadays, before blithely, and lazily, just hitting the Submit Button. Shoddy, and a sloppy mindset. |
