Certainty next time out. He was eating into the lead but Moore couldn't pull the horse out.

Rednblue,peculiar effort,slow away again,last at furlong pole,seemed to finish with a rattle

do you think they're in the stands wondering how one that suddenly went 8.39 to 6.2 was "never involved".
that move would hint at involvement. if it was legitimate. |
By:
Bobsleigh went from 6.2 out to 7 as far as I am concerned. Never mind, a good start. Also hoping that Holguin and Clochette can win.

So many imponderables to decipher:- 1) Emily Upjohn: 1st run; scratched prior 2) Hurricane Lane: Ground is against him 3) Westover: Perennial bridesmaid; regular hard-luck story 4) Point Lonsdale: Beat a poor filed last time 5) Tunnes: Unknown here; a long way to come. |

I am absolutely intrigued to find out just how Hornby will consider to get Westover beaten today.
I fancy the horse in this race but simply can't put my hard-earned at risk on anything he rides. |

By:
typo; replace consider with conspire

Look at all those bushes and shrubs behind the Derby start. Ready made for activists nutters to hide.

By:
Westover for me. Moore and the German rider should be fined. Still ambling to post after the start time. Hoping to get Westover boiling over no doubt.
By:
Well done Frankie. Terrific ride.
By:
I have to say that Hornby just can't bring himself to use Westover's stamina. He might not have won but he should not have waited until Frankie arrived on his outside.
By:
A well-deserved win after last year's Oaks. Arc winner? Not for me.
By:
Didn't effect the result imo but Hornsby has got boxed in a bit again and couldn't get out when he wanted
By:
By:
But even when he had a run, Hornby still sat for a furlong until Frankie was alongside! If he had gone for everything as soon as he saw daylight, it might have been close.
By:
I agree up to a point MJK but the Stewards should tell him that if he arrives after post time, he will be fined or banned. O'Brien and Moore don't have a sporting bone in their bodies. All about gaining unfair advantage from an hour before the start to the finish.

By:
just ridden for even pace would have sufficed
By:
this moron even has an oaks ride, quite remarkable tbh
By:
But Beckett scoffed at the idea that he might make the running so no way Hornby would disobey orders. If he had done it would have been interesting.
By:
pace & position 2 completely different things

in hell: I know. In a five horse race with the winner dropped out at the back.
He keeps making the same mistakes! They should make a video of all his dreadful rides like, how to find trouble in a five horse race, and show them at the jockey training school. Mr Bean could play him. |

By:
since he had that bad fall in dec 2020 he's a pre-commission 6%+ loss @ BSP from 1381 rides (before today)...not good
