Annoying when a horses name gets under your skin, but for some reason i've had this name in the forefront of my mind today but i can't think why.
Pretty sure i've mentioned this horse before on here even if only in passing as having a remote ew chance in a race but can't find it. Have looked through her lack of worthwhile form and only fair run was when 8th at Clonmel behind Truckers Angel btn over eight lengths.
What i have found is that his sires progeny stats are much better on Good-G/F ground than soft/heavy, so i'm hoping this her 1st run on Good ground since her debut in a Bumper here will bring about some improvement. Trainer has a winner every blue moon.
Perhaps it's just a name that reminds me of an old Grand National horse, can just imagine Michael O' Hehir saying this name as they cross the Melling rd for the 2nd time.
Anyway had a £5 EW at 16/1 with 356 1st 4 for the crack.

Just seen that they have shortened it to 11/1 since i started typing, can't be my fiver that's done that surely
 , can't imagine anyone being in a rush to back it! Still 18/19 on here so should drift out later on imo. |
