2 years ago Adam Kirby could do no wrong while Richard Kingscote seemed to be a fading memory. Now Kingscote is flying high after a 2022 Derby win and plenty of big trainers putting him up while Kirby who won the Derby in 2021 has had just 3 winners in 2023!

Kirby has been struggling with his weight for a couple of years. Probably can't do the weight required without a big ask.
I know he has campaigned for a rise in the weights but it is still a very steep fall from getting Derby winners from Godolphin.
Does alot of pre training,dont have the hrs in the day for race riding.....
Strong as anybody in the saddle but his weight is a big problem.
