Would a "professional" gambler put £3k on a snooker bet at one betting shop, where there has been a bit of previous, in cash and would they get it on?

If they foresaw a problem why didnt they ask for id/ proof of income BEFORE he placed the bet.

Luke Paton's (golf pro gambler) latest blogpiece also deals with a similar issue he's having; the matter is becoming crazy, unwilling to accept that someone may win a bet.

I haven't read it (regarding FOI requests) - but they would have to comply with a DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) - and it would put the shoe on the other foot, i.e. You are now requesting detailed information from them - and it would greatly inconvenience them because they are simply not geared up (don't have the systems) to comply with such requests, yet they are legally bound to do so within a fairly tight time-line.
A detailed DSAR from a knowledgable, persistent and challenging individual - is a complete nightmare! |
