A 'HALF A Group 1 horse' ..... - Being Not really a Group 1 horse .... Rather than - a Group 1 horse - and+ a half.  He was, apparently, referring to Desert Crown's Derby Runner-Up - HOO YA MAL ... Who disappeared to Australia - and finished beaten 21 Lengths in the Melbourne Cup in November 2022 Not seen on a Racecourse since - until this Spring - When it has run in 3 Barrier Trials at Randwick - finishing - 6th - 4rd - and 4th ... the latest in early March |
