Wolverhampton 4:50...

an utterly hideous effort imv...

and i see the John Butler (Power Owned) horse won the race...

i'm just going to have a look to see if the stewards noticed it or not ?

Rounding the first bend, a free-running POP FAVORITE, unplaced, shifted slightly left-handed causing GOOD HUMOR, unplaced, to become short of room for a few strides, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Luke Morris reported that GOOD HUMOR, unplaced, suffered interference on the first bend.

Stewards watching Escape to the Country during this race i reckon.

i'm sure John Butler has a plan for the horse saddo...

a hideous ride and for the Stewards to file it in the 'nowt to see here' box is pretty laughable i'd say...

Presumably - Power Brothers (Owners of the heavily Gambled on Winner SWEET BERTIE)  are related to  former footballer Lee Power (Power Geneva)  Owner of GOOD HUMOR.

Power Brothers only have one other Horse - Business - Trained by Sean Curran  Happy

Cannot determine if Lee Power has a similar aged (53 years old) brother - and there is another Power, a Director of the - 'Road Freight' 'business'- Power Geneva - However, he is aged 25 - so could be a Lee Power son.

The question remains - What was the Form justification for SWEET BERTIE to be BACKED into 5/2 FAV today?

9th of 12 - 10th of 11 - 8th of 9 - Pulled Up - LAST of 11  .... Recent Runs.
