It's not difficult to predict where the sun will be on May 24th. Nor is it particularly hard to evvisage that it might be a clear fine evening in late Spring. If they can't put accept that a hurdle race will be run with 13 obstacles as advertised then this fixture should not have been in the calendar. Ludicrous!

This summer jumping should surely be the first thing to go in any cull of the fixture list.
Market Rasen on Monday was equally unattractive, with obstacles pulled because of sun and tiny fields. |

Summer AW as too unless they can get good racing on, don't need more dross. A break would freshen everyone up.

Removing fences is a joke in british racing. The one at Uttoxeter the other day was ridiculous with a whole row of jumps ommited, and horses and jockeys crashing and horses running out all over the place.
They basically couldn't tell where they were all supposed to be on the track, weaving around jumps. Either abandon these meetings or jump. |

I quite agree and trainers and owners should be able to withdraw their horse if this happens,just warn the jockey if they pull out more than 1 fence I want it withdrawn.

Withdrawing horses at the start would cause a hell of a stink but at least then they would have to sort it out,I have seen last NH season fences taken out and a few seconds later the sun goes in and there was no reason for it.
