Tried the gov page earlier sent me round in circles, who maintains the road , have you reported the road defect in the past, tough one that first time i've driven on the road. My spring guesswork comes from googling the noise, could easily be 10 other things be the look of it wont know until tomorrow. Sounds like its going to be a feckin nightmare getting someone to admit its their fault, was just hoping could give me a pointer. Think ill bite the bullet if its less than a bottle, guess that's what they want you to do.

when the clutch is to the floor the clutch disengages the gearbox so shouldnt be gearbox connected..does it make any noise whilst ticking over?
