24 Entered. Only about 3 fancied one's likely to turn out, and one of those might not handle quicker ground. Does this mean plenty of the rags are going to give it a go to try and nick a place at big odds?

I made the mistake of backing Empress Wu before the Musidora. She ran better than her final placing, particularly if the run was needed, but there is a suspicion she might want some rain which seems unlikely. At least she is still in at this stage, and I can't see there is that much to lose in giving it a go. After all the winner of the Musidora seemed to take a big step forward on second run.
I don't think the two or three who head the market are bombproof so have had another dart with Dance In The Grass who shaped as if further would suit and she should handle the surface. 50/1 With a boost seems reasonable. |
