a wide open looking dante and i am taking on the front of the market here ,obviously plenty with chances and some big yards represented and an irish challenge with the unbeaten continuous who is 2 from2 and won a group race at saint cloud could go well here but at bigger prices i like LIBERTY LANE who won on debut at nottingham then a good 2nd to waipero who franked the form with a decent 2nd to an appleby colt who is now prominent in the derby betting ,liberty lane was giving 7 pound to waipero and that looks decent form ,well bred and trip no problem karl burke usually has his horses primed at this meeting and he is unexposed and could outrun his odds and the 25/1 was fair this morning and can be backed around those odds on here .
i like a few at decent odds and KING OF STEEL a switcher to the varian yard was a good winner on debut then down the field in the futurity but that may have come too soon only 10 days after his debut and should progress and the change of yard may bring further improvement .

Went with Passenger 10 win and 2.4 for 4 places I just like his win last time…first time out he handled the dip nicely and came clear in good enough style. A little goofy looking at the stands towards the line but he should be much better today. |

a) I would be suprised if the Derby winner ran in the Dante. b) Appleby's horses are to be avoided at all costs at the moment.  |

Appleby has a 30+% strike rate this year so don't avoid them. Just stick to maidens, handicaps and listed races with him.

The time was exceptional so it might have been a good race. Too many in contention for there to be an exceptional horse in there.
