A regular at the big meetings and seldom ran a bad race was fatally injured yesterday at York yet our trade paper can’t be bothered doing a small piece on him or even mentioning it.

I thought he was gelded prematurely. Godolphin have been pretty quick to geld a lot of horses over the last few years. As you you say a good horse and a shame we won't see him anymore.

years ago the sporting life used put in paper horses that died and it was a lot then

The racecourse announced it loud and clear and made the point how quickly the vets attended him perhaps the racing post journalists weren’t watching the race or listening to any announcements.
