1940's Single engine fixed-wing plane and then along comes this nutter.
SO he could plenty of views on you tube.?? Am i missing something here,but i always had it in my mind an airplane was more valuable then you tube views. Or as Leif stated just an absolute nutter ,whos clearly got more money than sense. Must be a million to 1 to get an insurance payout.
He bought it really cheaply apparently. The seller was basically getting rid of it to sell off as spare parts. This chump made him an offer.
Surprising the video hasn't been removed or demonetising it at the very least. The incident is under investigation. He had a fire extinguisher strapped to his leg which may raise an eyebrow.
