But it was in the Betfair market at 3.8 or so as if it were running this morning ---- I thought they only appeared in the market if they were running?? Very odd situation. I must admit I don't usually bet so early where reserves are potentials. What does everyone else do? Do you avoid until you know the situation with the reserves?

Markets on Irish races have the reserves in  - with 0% RF - on the day of racing until [some trigger point I am not completely clear on].

Thanks Longbridge. I think I'll just leave them till much later in the day. I laid one at a certain price based on that reserve being a strong danger - I won't fall for that again - I'm sure I'm not the first to do that. :)

Looking at today's Killarney markets, the reserves all came out shortly after 11.
