The exacta was under probably because somebody else won it, as well as the tote.
When they boast about beating the CSF or tricast, it’s usually because nobody has got it. When you do happen to win, so does the tote, and it nearly always pays under. The takeouts are also huge. Yesterday at Chester you would have been way better off backing the CSF than the exacta, and the CSF is one of the the poorest bets in racing. This isn’t pool betting. The greedy tote is the worst value bet in racing. Punters should be aware. |
